Confession time. We're envious. There we go, I said it. We are envious...

We love running an online gift shop and we are so very grateful to have so many folk visiting our site from all around the world. But there is one big sadness about the online-ness of our shop, which is that we will never get to meet the vast majority of our lovely customers face to face. Yep, we are just a little envious of our friends who have brick and mortar shops or who do the rounds of market stalls and fairs, who interact with all their customers in person on the daily. We have had the absolute joy of meeting a handful of you, and we just wish there was a way we could meet you all.

On the other hand, it is to be fair the online-ness of our shop that allows so many folk from all walks of life and all corners of the globe to come to visit us - and what lovely wonderful people you all are! We love the amazing emails and messages we receive. We love the stories and thoughts you share. We are so encouraged every time we hear of how you guys have used our cards and gifts to send messages that have had amazing impact in real people's lives, and we so often have our days made by your kind and encouraging words. We even have some wonderful friendships that have blossomed out of these connections.

So, whether you are just having a wee browse for the first time or you are a regular here, please know that you are very welcome and we massively appreciate you being here! If this were a bricks and mortar shop, we'd give you plenty of space to browse in peace (we are British after all!), but we would also greet you with warm smiles and be ready to help in whatever way we could.
